Videojet solutions for coding directly onto vials
There are different locations where vials can be marked: on the aluminum side rim closure, on top of the vial cap or on the bottom. And different technologies can be used ranging over CIJ, TIJ or laser.
- Fiber Laser: By marking aluminum vial closures on the side, the laser creates durable codes that last the lifetime of the product to help maintain traceability at any time.
- Thermal inkjet (TIJ) printers: TIJ and CIJ printer are ideal solutions for printing alphanumeric or 2D DataMatrix codes directly onto the vial cap.
- Continuous inkjet (CIJ) printer: The invisible code, printed with a Continuous inkjet or Thermal inkjet printer, is typically applied to the vial cap or bottom. This allows for internal traceability without the code visible at the point of use.
